Drip. Drop

So many crazy aspects of life become so quickly normal to us. But if you remove the "normality glasses"and see life with fresh eyes, there are so many outlandish and beautiful things that we get to encounter on a daily basis. 


Rain: 
Isn't just rain. It's millions of water droplets that escape from big heavy clouds that hang in the sky (a whole different phenomenon in themselves). Giving our earth, and the little creatures who dwell among the leaves the perfect moisture they need. Allowing the ground to drink, and giving our freckled faces a rest from the blazing sun.
It seems to show that God just doesn't need us. He has his whole, beautiful sprinkler system all figured out along with all the other ways he provides for his creations. 


Amazing that along with getting His accomplished work done by the rain, He is also able to give us joy through it. I love the feeling of waking up to a cloudy, wet day. Knowing I get to splash around in it and then come into my warm house and snuggle. Soaking in the sweet smell it brings and the sound it makes as it hits my windshield. Whether we complain about it or not, rain seems to give us that cozy feeling that is just naturally implanted into our little hearts. 

He just loves to see His children happy :)


Enjoy the rain today (for as long as we have it.) Realizing that it's not normal, but a beautiful miracle and a generous gift.
